Reduce water retention during steroid cycle

Hello, I believe that your edema may be due to three reasons: 1) the connective tissue sheath surrounding the three fat pads within the lower eyelids thins with age, leading to fat herniation and puffy lower eyelids; and 2) the lower eyelid skin becomes less elastic and descends, causing a crepe-y lower eyelid skin appearance and tired look; and 3) it may be due to malar festoons, which look like thickened mounds sitting atop the cheek bones. I would recommend a consultation with an oculoplastic surgeon to help distinguish these three conditions and plan your treatment accordingly.

Martin! Second article I have read of yours tonight. Love how you keep it simple. Makes the idea of trying new things with exercise/diet less daunting. Quick question - to get specific with refeed... If I had a shoot in the AM for example, how would you break up the carb intake the day before? And when would you ideally place the full-body workout? Traditionally I have drank shit loads of water for two weeks leading up to it, then halved that two days before, halved again the day before, then no food/water on the day of shoot until I'm done. Want to try something different!! Jack

Most women experience at least mild symptoms of Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) before and during their menstrual cycle. A common PMS symptom is bloating, a result of excess water retention that occurs from hormonal changes. Some women report gaining several pounds before their period from water bloat. It may not be possible to totally eliminate water weight gain during PMS, but there are things you can do to reduce the amount of bloating you experience. However, if your bloating continues despite trying these suggestions, then talk to your doctor.

A lot of bodybuilders get very lean, and achieve vascularity in areas such as their arms and legs, yet still cannot get their lower abdominal muscles to appear. This is usually due, not to fat, but to fluid and excess sodium ions being deposited in the lower abdominal region, thereby masking the well-sculpted muscle that lies underneath. This is why you hear a lot of people saying things such as "I'll never get this thick skin to go away"; when in fact they are misunderstanding a major concept that underlies achieving a truly striated and well-defined look: flushing subcutaneous fluid and excess sodium from underneath the skin.
